  • Owner/entity has insurable interest.
  • Valid RC and correct class/category:
  • goods carrying vehicle,
  • passenger carrying vehicle,
  • taxi/cab,
  • miscellaneous/special vehicle, etc.
  • Valid permit(s) as required for the route/operation.
  • Fitness Certificate must be valid where legally required.
  • Vehicle usage, carrying capacity and geography must match the policy.
  • Previous claims, vehicle age, IDV, route, type of goods/passengers and fleet experience can affect underwriting.
  • Expired policy can require inspection before own-damage cover.
